Easily the best Airbnb we have stayed at. The views of the creek are unbeatable and peaceful. Both David and his wife were incredibly helpful and always responsive whenever we had questions. The house is everything one can wish for, from amenities to views to a fully stocked kitchen. The house was immaculately clean. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Every bedroom and bathroom were a great size.The home was breathtaking and tastefully decorated to match the location. It had everything we needed and then some. They also surprised us with welcome gifts which were so nice and thoughtful! They truly went above our expectations. We definitely are planning to be returning guests! Thank you again for being the best super hosts to my wife and I along with our pups!

The house is wonderfully outfitted with new quality fixtures, appliances, linen, etc. Clean as a whistle. Very cozy and comfortable to kick back and relax. Sleeping accommodations where likewise cozy & comfortable. The creek and outside areas were very relaxing. David really went out of his way to make his home, your home.

David’s lodge was the perfect weekend getaway. Communication was super quick and easy and the place looks even better than it does in the pics. It was well stocked with all the necessities (and all the smell goods). The location is great; it’s near grocery & convenience stores, hiking trails, and the Mt Airy Casino. Beautiful, comfortable, pristine oasis in the Poconos. The inside of the home is clean and homey with great gathering spaces in the kitchen, dinning room, and living room. The kitchen is big, bright, and well stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and super clean. The outside is zen like-- you can drink coffee on the deck or on the benches next to the brook. There is a covered bbq area with hightop tables for gathering, and the fire pit is the perfect way to end the night, roasting marshmallows under the stars. The host was extraordinarily responsive. When we arrived, there were treats waiting for us. He was always available to answer questions and to help us make the most of our stay.

This was our second stay at David’s house. It’s becoming our annual tradition to stay here for Memorial Day weekend. You can’t beat the amenities and the beautiful location. David consistently adds new updates to the house and yard - it is a true paradise. My kids always love spending time by the stream, making s’mores in the fire pit and eating meals under the pavilion. We thought at one point there was an issue with the hot water (there wasn’t) and David was quick to respond and was so sweet about the misunderstanding. He also always leaves us lots of treats and goodies upon arrival! If anyone is on the fence about staying here, just book it!! You won’t regret it.

I had the privilege of stay at the lodge with my husband and our best friends and 3 yr old Labrador to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Everything about this experience was perfect from beginning to end. David was extremely friendly and quick to communicate with and even answered all of my questions, no matter how trivial. The home and property are both breathtaking beautiful and every detail has been curated to be a mixture of fun and relaxation. I loved waking up to the sound of the creek and falling asleep after a soak in either the jacuzzi or claw foot tub. Our dog was so happy playing fetch in the yard or hunting for rocks and sticks in the creek. Thank you David for hosting what turned out to be a truly magical weekend and we can not wait to return!

This was a perfect place for our weekend getaway with three couples. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit really helped make the weekend cozy. We loved the beautiful views of the stream, having smores by the fire, and going in the hot tub with a perfect view of the stars. The house came stocked with board games, but we especially enjoyed the dart board. We felt like we were secluded in the woods but were able to go to the spa down the street and go on a hike at a nearby trail. The overall experience was great and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy weekend away!

David's house was perfect for a weekend trip to the Poconos. With the brook, the outdoor covered area, the fire pit, the house and everything else, you can relax and enjoy the area without even leaving the property. But if you do need anything, stores, restaurants and other places of interest are a short drive away.

If you are considering staying here, do yourself a favor and stop combing Airbnb for dozens of listings and just book the lodge with David - I wish I had done so sooner and saved myself the trouble! Communication with David was instant and pleasant, and everything was smooth and hassle free. The house itself: like everyone has said, pictures do not do it justice, even though the pictures were super accurate and a perfect showing of the beauty you will be experiencing. The master bathroom was like a private spa, the house was IMMACULATE (seriously, cleaner than my own house has ever been), and around every corner and in every nook and cranny was a small touch to make you feel at home. It's amazing the lengths David went to to make his guests feel at home. I didn't go with a large party, just a weekend away with my husband and our dog, and it was perfect for us. We ate almost all of our meals out on the porch by the creek because we couldn't believe this was our view. When we had the option to eat at a restaurant we actually found ourselves getting takeout and going back to the house because we didn't want to lose a moment of our time there. We went in the creek and even our usually timid dog was enjoying in the super clear, clean water. It was secluded enough to feel distanced from the outside world, but close enough to amenities should we need, even though everything you could ever want was provided for you. This place is so welcoming, so warm, and I have to mention it again: SPOTLESS! Even though it was perfect for a couple, I can't wait to come back with friends and family and have them enjoy it too. Thank you David for everything, can't wait to return to the Lodge!

We booked The Lodge for a girls weekend. There were six of us in total and the space was perfect for the size of our group. David was a very responsive host and he kindly let us check-in early when we made it to the house quicker than we thought we would! The house was immaculate and clean and smelled amazing. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with any type of dish/glassware you would want as well as basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, and spices, which made our grocery run much more streamlined. We loved the layout of the house - it was really nice to have a proper dining table and also a breakfast table that would fit our whole group. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs and a lofted bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The main living space was gorgeous, but we really ended up spending most of our time outside - the stream is like something out of a movie and the landscaping of the yard is professional-grade. The covered patio area was wonderful - we could be outside even when it was drizzly and make all of our meals on the grill rain or shine. We loved the firepit area which was great for s'more-making. The wrap around deck was also so pleasant for coffee and breakfast. I would highly recommend booking David's home. I hope we can return sometime soon

The house is meticulously clean and welcoming, the kitchen is fully equipped and there were amenities throughout the property - tons of towels & linens, outdoor games, firewood, lots of seating and Bluetooth speakers inside and out. The property is absolutely lovely and serene. Communication with David was excellent ahead of and throughout our stay. 5+ stars, would absolutely stay again.

My family had the BEST time at David’s house. The house itself is immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge and the beds were all very comfortable. Pictures don’t even do the house justice. But the best part is the outdoor space. My kids had a blast down at the creek, and the adults really enjoyed the fire pit area and covered outdoor seating. This house was worth every penny!

This house is outstanding! We loved everything about it. The location is great, you are tucked away in the woods next to this awesome creek, but close enough to outdoor activities (hikes, UTV, horseback riding). Maybe 5 minutes from the grocery and wine/liquor store. This place has it all: fire pit, hot tub, large yard to play outdoor games (David provides), fire place, great kitchen. Our favorite thing about David’s place is that its right by the creek that runs through the area and he has benches right by the water. We had our morning coffee there. It was lovely! David is super responsive and wonderful host. We didn’t want to come back home!

We had a fabulous stay at The Lodge. We were a party of 2 families staying for 4 days. This house is set up for families. We had a variety of yard games and board games to play with. The Creek was a nice amenity for the kids to play in. And the house felt very clean. There was even a sanitation station at the door. I would recommend.

5+ stars. Can’t say enough about The Lodge. David is super friendly and responds quickly. Hosts provide outstanding attention to detail and The Lodge is cleaner than immaculate. Kitchen has everything you would need, plenty of board games, movies, music, outdoor games, we didn’t want for anything. Beds are extremely comfy and the house is set up perfectly. The stream provides a great ambiance and the house is secluded and private while also close to nearby attractions, restaurants and grocery. This place was an incredible stay! We came to stay here on what turned out to be the coldest weekend in over a year’s time, and cannot say enough how cozy this house was! The indoor fireplace was awesome at both providing heat and comfy vibes. (Though, to be clear, the fireplace was not needed for heat. The house would have been plenty warm without, but who doesn’t love the ambiance created by a real fire!) In addition to the home being wonderful, the property itself has so much to offer. From the beautiful creek to the outdoor fireplace and seating area, we loved having such a scenic view and place to spend some time outside this weekend. We can’t say enough great things about our trip and would recommend this place to anyone in the future!
